True Winter Alps

Seven days during which winter shows itself from a different side each time. Morning on a freshly groomed slope, another day just with snow underfoot. Long sled descent, silence of the cross-country track, world of ice high above the valley and evening when one does not want to come down from the mountains.

The journey starts on the home slopes above Meiringen and gradually opens up to the entire Jungfrau Region — to Grindelwald, Wengen, Jungfraujoch and Mürren. Active days alternate with calmer ones so that the stay does not become a race to see how much winter can be fitted in.

Seven days. Seven faces of winter.

True winter Alps are not just the piste.

They are the first turns on fresh snow and the silence of the forest on snowshoes. Cross-country skiing after dark. Sleds that finally head down after a long ascent. Eiger above the head, glacier deep under the feet and the warmth of a mountain restaurant at the moment when it gets dark outside.

Every day different.

And yet all belong to the same winter.
