The winter area above Meiringen offers slopes for a full day as well as lighter options when covering every kilometre is not the goal. Skiing can easily be combined with tobogganing, a winter walk or a longer stop on a mountain terrace.

The central point of the ski area is Mägisalp, where the toboggan run Mägisalp–Bidmi also begins.
